AXIOM GROUPS aren'’t improved small groups. They are miniature churches. We believe that the church should function like a body instead of being focused on just an event. Said another way, we want to create groups of people around Gainesville where the Body of Christ (the church) can minister and help disciple one another.We see 1 Peter 4:10 and 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 as two of the strongest instructions from the Bible to organize our church this way. Because Axiom Church is a cell church it means that we will focus the majority of our time, ministry, and resources on our Christian Communities, or Axiom Groups. These weekly meetings will be the place where people can be transparent, use their spiritual gifts, pray for each other, dialog about the Bible, build relationships, and serve together. You can join our groups at any time, so feel free to contact our pastor or any one of our leaders for more information, including location, time, and day of the week.

CELL CHURCH

We believe that God has called us to be the church and not to just go to church. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 12 that we are the Body of Christ or the church. We are designing our church to function like the human body in practice. This means we Axiom will not focus on a weekend service or event, but instead design our church around the idea of a genuine Christian Communities. They will be a place where every individual uses their gifts to help themselves and others grow spiritually.Practically, it looks like weekly group meetings, of 8-20 people, in homes or apartments where we pray, worship, study the Bible, and meet needs as they arise. We believe Axiom will be a church unlike anything you have experienced before. ANTHONY GRATTO

Born a Yankee in Oneonta, New York, but quickly recovered by growing up 1000 miles south in Gainesville, Florida. Anthony also spent 7 years in the Lone Star State, where he received a degree in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a College Minister, Youth Pastor, Coach and Teacher. He left his job as Executive Pastor at Oak Leaf Church in August of 2009 to return to Gainesville to start Axiom Church. DUSTIN CARPENTER

Dustin is currently studying Business at the University of Florida and is involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. He is a native Floridian, who loves skateboarding and bike riding to class and around Gainesville, which means you may have almost hit him. He loves to have fun, but don't let Dustin's boisterous and joviality attitude fool you. He is an extraordinary thinker and has a true passion for seeking God and seeking truth. He is also an earnest seeker of peace and will strive for a peaceful resolution to any issue he faces.
